November 5... We started the month with our first trip to South Carolina in quite a while. We visited Lake Wateree Baptist Church, about half an hour north of Columbia. We were invited by Leon Marlowe, and the choir welcomed us with a first class dinner after we set up the sound system. The church is located in sight of beautiful Lake Wateree in the Lake Wateree State Park, and there were lots of folks fishing from the bridge on this beautiful day.

November 13... Next weekend we plan to begin recording a new CD, so Sunday night we gave a special concert at our church that featured all the new songs. Mama's parents and brother were there, and we also welcomed Ben's friend Melissa Morrison and her parents, who were visiting for the first time from Kentucky.

November 19... We spent the weekend in Arden, NC, recording a new CD at Crossroads studio. It's been a few years since we recorded! We got to know Van Atkins, our engineer, and we are learning a lot about digital recording. We got the rhythm and lead sections recorded for the majority of our songs.

November 27... We always look forward to seeing our friends at the First Baptist Church of Whitsett. Sunday we gave a Christmas concert, and were treated to a wonderful covered-dish meal afterward. However, the event was bittersweet, because Pastor Tim Stevens was unable to attend. Pastor Tim underwent successful, triple-bypass surgery on Friday, and is in need of your prayers for his speedy recovery. Tim's family was in attendance Sunday morning, including his father, a pastor in Roanoke, VA.
