June 11... Saturday morning we sang for the first annual Murray's Mill Music Fest.  The festival celebrated the diversity of music styles in Catawba County, and we performed along with Power Praise, the Lenoir Rhyne African Drummers, the Exodus Missionary Choir, and Mood Swings.  This was a nice first event, and we hope it grows into an annual festival.  Sorry no pictures!

June 11... It's Saturday evening we were in beautiful downtown Belmont, where we played in the park for Belmont's summer concert series.  There was a very nice crowd, and the weather was beautiful.  This was the first year we weren't interrupted by the train.  Sorry no pictures!

June 12... We were happy to be back at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Conover, NC.  St. Peter's is a beautiful church near the Oxford Dam, and many of the church members work with David at nearby Lee Industries.

June 17... The Cockman Brothers took a trip to old Old Fort on Friday evening to enjoy some mountain music at the Rockett Building on Main Street.  We picked outside for an hour and a half, then went inside to play for the audience a while.  Every Friday night, two to three hundred people gather in the Rockett Building for music and dancing.

June 17... We had a fun time at the 2005 Catawba Valley Gospel Jamboree.  The event raised money for the Catawba County Firefighters Museum, and was held at the Catawba Valley Community College Multipurpose Complex.  We enjoyed the singing of 3 For 1 and The Anchormen

June 26... It was rainy for a good bit of the 81st Annual Singing on the Mountain at Grandfather Mountain.  We enjoyed the music of The Greenes, Saxophone legend Boots Randolph, The Primitive Quartet, The Gospel Enforcers, Arthur Smith and others.  It was also really neat to hear the sermon delivered by our friend George Hamilton IV!
