November 6... We were privileged to sing to benefit Sam and Denae Gandy.  Daddy works a lot with Sam for Gandy Communities.  Daddy organized the concert as a farewell gift for Sam and Denae as they leave for a three-year mission to Australia, where Sam will be attending school to be a missionary pilot.  This was also Lydia Jane Fisher's first concert!

November 7... We sang once again for Hickory Chapel Wesleyan's Old Fashioned Day in Jamestown, NC.  We had a great covered dish meal after the singing, and then I oiled up my rusty knees to play a little basketball with the church youth.  For once, Pastor Doug Caldwell didn't have to fix any of our instruments or equipment.  Grandma Cockman came with our cousin Sherry Alloway, who is a newly elected Judge in Guilford County.

November 21... We sang for the Sandhills Assembly of God homecoming Sunday morning in Southern Pines.  Pastor Brian Rainbow invited us to stay after for a pork and chicken BBQ meal provided by the church.  The Church provided the meal free of charge to thank the members and community for a successful outreach.  Our cousin Clyde Maness from Carthage was there.  Clyde gave us some of his pottery, and the family went by after church to visit his music barn.  Clyde hosts a bluegrass jam every Tuesday night.  Thanks to Tim Dickson for photos!
