May 1... Saturday night we sang once again at Sweetfire BBQ in Mooresville, NC.  Owner Pressley Stutts invited us back for another "Sweetfire Saturday Night" concert.  Grandma Cockman came with us to watch Samuel.  Once again we enjoyed some of the best BBQ around, and were pleased to see so many repeat customers.

May 2... Sunday we sang near Advance, NC, for the homecoming of Redlands Pentecostal Holiness Church.  We sang from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM, then enjoyed the message of a visiting minister.  Song Leader Johnny Cashwell and family were on hand to make us feel at home, and we had a great homecoming covered-dish dinner in the fellowship hall afterward!

May 8... Happy Mother's Day!  Daddy brought his mama along to our concert in Cherryville, and of course our mama was there as well.  There was a good crowd there despite the fact that it was the local Prom night.  It was a big day for Arwen, who performed in a public concert for the first time, playing "I'll Fly Away" on the piano after the offertory.  With Arwen playing, and Samuel already a stage veteran, Daddy can't wait to have his own second generation band up and running!

May 15... Pastor Mitchell Roller invited us to Rockingham  for an outdoor arbor singing.  With us was a great group of guys called the Sonshine Quartet, and the church was also selling some fantastic BBQ.  There was a good turnout for this community event, and we got to reacquaint ourselves with some cousins who came to visit!
