March 8... We drove up to Virginia Beach Saturday morning. After checking into the Hampton Inn in Norfolk, we drove over to the Pavilion. It was neat to see our name on the big sign! We set the sound then drove down to see the beach. It was pretty cold, so we stopped at Beach Bully's for some BBQ, then went back to the Pavilion. The concert was sponsored by the Virginia Beach Christian Music Association. After the singing we went back to the hotel an ordered pizza!

March 23... This was our first time in Pineville in a few years. Before the singing, the church held a covered dish dinner in the fellowship hall. There was a very nice crowd in the Sanctuary, and we were very pleased to see so many young people.

March 29... Billy called the Lions Club to see if Billy, David, Ben and myself would be allowed to compete at their Mooresville Fiddler's Convention, but instead they invited the whole band to be guest performers. We played for a while to start the convention, then for about half an hour at intermission.

March 30... We sang Sunday night in Advance, near Winston Salem, for the Advance Pentecostal Holiness Church. Jennifer and I almost didn't make it because of snow, but by the time we got down the mountain, the weather was great! We visited Grandma and Grandpa Gabriel, then headed up to Advance. Pastor Boyles and congregation were very warm, and invited us back for their homecoming meeting, first Sunday in May.

After seven inches of snow fell early Sunday, we barely made it off the mountain!
