December 6... We were in Chapel Hill Saturday night for the first showing of "Maker of the Stars: A Cockman Family Christmas" as part of UNCTV's Winter Musicfest. Live on all the UNC Public Television Stations, we interviewed, answered phones, and even sang a live a cappella rendition of "Walking in a Winter Wonderland". Our friends Claude and Barbara Hill visited us from Mill Creek, NC, and we stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Chapel Hill, which is managed by Claude's daughter Cindy. |

December 13... This was our third Christmas Concert at Lake Junaluska. The first was with Mayberry's George "Goober" Lindsey, then with the Trantham Family. This time we sang with multiple Grammy winner David Holt. David was assisted by the gifted Josh Goforth, and we enjoyed the Appalachian music history and great picking provided by this duo. We also enjoyed staying and eating at the beautiful Junaluska Assembly Inn!

December 31... Wingate University is where we usually spend our New Year's Eve and this year was no different. We were joined by several great Southern Gospel Groups to ring in the New Year and to benefit the area Law Enforcement association!
