November 2... This was our second year to sing for the Catawba County Republican Fish Fry at Bandys High School.  After a fishy dinner, we got to meet all the GOP candidates.  We all went to school at Bandys, so it was nice to walk the halls and play a little ball in the gym again.

November 3... This was perhaps our sixth or seventh year to sing at Hickory Chapel Wesleyan in Jamestown.  We really feel like we belong!  Pastor Doug Caldwell and the friendly congregation always seem to enjoy having us visit for their Old Fashioned Sunday, and we always enjoy laughing at some of their costumes!  The sanctuary was anything but old-fashioned -- the church has been remodeled since the last time we were here!  After the singing we moved across the lawn for some of the best food in the piedmont.

November 3... Pastor Randy Foster was gracious enough to have us back at Bethpage United Methodist on Sunday night.  Before the singing the church treated us to a chili-potato and salad supper.  The chili was out of this world.  We were amazed at the size of the audience -- both the floor and the balcony were completely filled!

November 9... We enjoyed a very lively crowd at Myers Park!  There were lots of children in attendance, and they all crowded up at the front to listen, dance, shout, whatever.  Daddy said, "This is what we act like in our church, except it's the grown-ups!".  We sang all the story songs we knew, and a lot of Christmas songs as well.  We also had some great BBQ before the service.

November 10... It was standing room only at East Maiden Baptist.  there were lots of people there that we recognized, but some new faces as well.  After the concert everyone went up 321 to Gepetto's for some pizza.

November 23... This was probably our first time in Scotland County, and we had a great time singing at the Laurel Hill Community Center.  The singing, which featured a great local bluegrass band and several solos, was sponsored by the Sand Hills Christian Church.  There were several families that drove over an hour to come to the singing, and it was a good one.
