May 24-26...  We were the host band at Fiddler's Grove 78th Annual Ole Time Fiddlers and Bluegrass Festival in Union Grove, NC.  Every Memorial Day weekend, thousands gather in Union Grove for a two-day competition of some of the nation's finest bluegrass and old-time pickers.  Fiddler's Grove is America's oldest continuous fiddller's convention, and received the "Local Legacy Award" from the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.

Harper and Wansie Van Hoy.

Harper and Wansie are please to have their friends back each year for non-stop fun, relaxation, and great music.  Along with prizes for bluegrass and old-time bands, there are individual Junior and Senior competitions in fiddle, banjo, autoharp, mandolin, harmonica, guitar, dulcimer, hammered dulcimer, dobro, and bass fiddle.  Along with the competition, the festival featured concerts by Bryan Sutton and friends, the Cockman Family, Blackgrass, Wicker and Jones, the Trantham Family, Master Fiddler J.P. Fraley, Spring Valley Smooth Dance Team, the Cane Creek Cloggers, and others.
