March 8 ... Just the Cockman Brothers sortied out to Old Fort for a concert at the Fire Department.  We can always count on music every Friday night in Old Fort -- even on Christmas eve!  We try to get by there at least once a year, and Caroline's immobility (baby Samuel is due!) gave us a good opportunity.  This is a great local tradition that is expanding (literally) through the walls.  We always enjoy the music and jamming that can be found here every week.

March 22 ... Congratulations Caroline and Kelly!  Two weeks late, but he's finally here!  Samuel was born March 22 at 5:34 AM.  He was 7 lbs., 14 oz., and was 20 inches long.  He is called Samuel, and his middle name is Curtis in memory of our grandfather, William Curtis Cockman.  His birth was a 32nd wedding anniversary present for Mama and Daddy!

March 30 ... Caroline and David weren't on hand, but we still had a fun concert for the Cabarrus County Law Enforcement Officers Gospel Sing at A. L. Brown High School Auditorium in Kannapolis, NC.  Timothy Cross accompanied us on the bass guitar and piano, and we sang as the Cockman Trio for the first time ever.
