February 4... The Christian Singles of Mooresville First Baptist sponsored an evening of food and Cockmans.  There were lots of friends in attendance as we sang for the second year in a row.  There were lots of deserts, so we took advantage by celebrating Jennifer's 25th birthday (Feb. 5th)!  Click here for pictures taken at last year's Concert.

February 10... There were plenty of sweethearts at the Sweetheart Banquet held at the First Wesleyan Church in Kannapolis, NC.  A wonderful meal was catered in, and we all had a great time.  We tried out some new songs, and brought up some old ones as we tried to stay with the Valentine's theme.

February 11... We were invited by our friends the Poe family to sing at Franklin Baptist Church in Salisbury, NC.  The WOM cooked supper for us, and the church was filled to overflowing as we sang our last concert before Valentine's Day.  We've known the Poes for quite some time, and are always glad to see them show up at some of our nearby concerts.

February 17... This year we remembered to bring our own bowls and spoons to the annual Fall Creek Fire Department benefit held at Fall Creek Elementary School.  There they fix big pots of chicken stew, and everybody brings a bowl and a dessert.  We had a lot of fun in this informal setting, and everyone stayed until the end!  Click here for pictures taken at last year's Concert.

February 23... Every chance we get we love to show up at the Old Fort Fire Department in Old Fort, NC.  Gene Padgett and company never miss gathering here on every Friday night of the year -- even when it falls on Christmas Eve!  Sorry -- no pictures tonight!

February 25... Rehobeth is where David and Jessie were married, and they recently gave us a mini-bus to ride around in.  Tonight's concert marked the first night of their week-long revival.  It was great to see my old fiddle student Gary Barker and his family, and the Poes even missed the Dale Earnhardt Memorial Service to attend the singing.  Click here for pictures of David and Jessie's wedding!
