December 8 ... We had a wonderful time as always at the Lake.  Martin Stewart invited us for another Christmas Concert at Stuart Auditorium.  The Cockman Family ended a day of music which included the Lake Junaluska Singers and the Trantham Family.  We were a little rusty on our Christmas songs, but had a great time anyway.

Christmas Concert at Stuart Auditoriun

December 14 ... Lots of folks turned out to the Hiddenite Center for a concert to benefit the family of late banjo picker Paul Buchanan.  Paul was a young man who was well known to many in bluegrass as a great friend and musician.  Among the groups represented were the Catawba River Boys and the Sugarloaf Ramblers.  We provided the sound, and the concessions were terrific.  It was wonderful to see the community's support for Paul's family.

December 20 ... Animals of all shapes and sizes adorned the walls at the Hickory Wildlife Clubhouse.  We had a short singing and then were first in line for a great meal -- how could it get any better?  Sorry, no pictures!

December 22 ... Billy, Ben and Daddy were the only ones to make it to Storey's BBQ Christmas Party this year, but they had a great time jamming and eating.

December 31 ... Once again we rang in the New Year at Wingate University, this time with the Wishons, the Creator's, and the original Briarhoppers.  Earlene hicks was kind enough to invite us back for another singing to benefit the Union County Sheriffs Association.
