Nov 6... What a rousing way to start off the month!  We had a great time singing for this bunch of kids at Christ Covenant's "Boot Scoot and Barbeque".

Nov 7... As usual, we had a great time at Hickory Chapel with Pastor Doug Caldwell.  Jennifer's parents Aubrey and Elizabeth came, along with her Grandmother Elva and several other relatives.  After the singing we had a huge covered dish lunch.  We'll be back next year, Lord willing, on the first Sunday of November for another "Old Fashioned Day"!

Nov 7... It was a singing in the great outdoors as the Cockman Family performed for this community fall festival.  There were puppets, hay rides, and plenty of great food.

Nov 13-14... It was a spirited singing in Georgia as the the Cockman Family ministered along with some other great gospel groups.  This singing marks the church's 30th Anniversary, and we had a big dinner on Saturday afternoon.  It was good to see Pastor Wilson Hembree again, along with some friends from home!  Alan and Vonnie Brown showed up, along with their son and daughter-in-law, but got away before I though to get out the camera.  Also, my old high school buddy Tommy Hullette and his wife Eve dropped in.  Tommy is now a youth minister in Atlanta and he brought along two of his students, Chris and Ryan.

Nov 21... We sang at Penn Forest for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Bro. Billy Hale, president of the CGMA (Country Gospel Music Association) stopped by, and after the singing we went to the fellowship hall for dessert and pizza!  For more information about the CGMA, contact Billy Hale at countrygospelmusicassn@usa.net.

November 25-27... I can think of no better way to close the month than in Murfreesboro, TN, at the annual Thanksgiving Meetings at Central Middle School hosted by Pastor Billy Andrews.  The Guest speaker all three nights was Ed Byskal of Cloverdale Bibleway in Vancouver, BC.  Billy, David, Ben, Jennifer and I went with a group of friends and stayed all weekend.  This is the only time during the year we get to hear Brother Byskal preach, and we wouldn't miss it.

Friday night we sang "Old Soldiers' Reunion" and Saturday night we sang "How Can Two Walk Together".  As always we were amazed at the beautiful harmonies of the Byskal Sisters, Brother Ed's daughters.  One of the daughters was unable to make it, but a granddaughter filled in seamlessly.  We also had a great time at the youth fellowship on Saturday, meeting new and old friends and playing a few games of volleyball.  The services were awesome as usual, and if the Lord is willing we'll be there again next year.
